    Hi,

I really enjoy so many of the different types of interactions that are made possible by our software developers, but I'm getting a collection of Meeting apps on my phone and computers. For example, Google Hangout, GoToWebinar, GoToMeeting, Zoom, and Microsoft Team.

What is your preferred Meeting and Webinar app?

    Hi,

    I prefer https://whereby.com

Anyone can create a free room and share the room url with the target audience.

Anyone can join (by visiting the room url from a modern browser like chrome) without installing any app/software and does not require an account or signup.

Free room supports Video conference upto 4 members. Also it supports screen sharing.

    Regards,
    SWARUP Selvaraj.

Preferably, Microsoft team for meeting and Zoom for webinar, as it can accommodate 100 of free expense and over 100 on premium.

Dear Oanh, my preferred app is Google Meet. It can accommodate up to 250 people, and it includes a chat, and add-ons, option to record the session, and the option to raise your hand or share your screen. It is a very reliable platform for online meetings and classes.

Thanks everyone for your responses. I was wondering how some platforms may be able to enhance opportunities in the future for distance learning or training. I asked a question earlier today during an ASCE meeting, trying to find solutions to narrow the gap between older and younger generations to close the experience gap. Sometimes I wonder if it could also be difficult because of cyber security issues and protecting trade practices.

    Hello there,

My university has been using Zoom because of the ability to have a host and co-hosts for each class, along with being able to type and read messages sent in. The link could always be sent to us, along with a password to get in because of the rise in trolling on the website.

My job was using Microsoft Teams before all the work just stopped, because we all spent more times filling out and uploading files than having meetings and sending messages.
