The garden is one of the most aesthetic parts of the house. It’s a fun place where you can grow different plants over time and come to enjoy yourself with some peace.

The garden gives you a sort of safe place, and you can also entertain guests there. It’s sort of a safe place because you can think there quietly surrounded by nature, which is very therapeutic.

There are different ways you can beautify your garden. The plants by themselves are great, but there are other things you can add to make it even more glamorous.

A water fountain is an excellent addition to your garden. It not only provides you with a water source; it goes a great length to make your garden look exquisite.

There are different types of water fountains, and we’ll be looking at some of them:

  • Tiered Fountain

Tiered fountains are one of the most elegant types of water fountains you will find.

They are designed in steps or tiers; you can have as many as three tiers or even more depending on your choice.

The design of these water fountains allows the water coming from them to take different shapes and also give out sounds similar to that of a waterfall.

  • Spouting Fountain

As the name suggests, the spouting fountain is designed to spit up water in a choreographed pattern that gives it absolute beauty.

This type of fountain is a great way to beautify your garden, and it will give it a nice extravagant look.

For this fountain you will need a water source like a water tank or reservoir, you’ll also need a pump that can function underwater.

  • Self-Contained Fountain

The self-contained fountains are a great choice of a water fountain, and their design makes them very compact, easy to handle, and very attractive.

This fountain can fit anywhere in your garden; it’s portable and it’s entirely self-sufficient. Unlike most fountains, the self-contained fountain as the name suggests is self-contained.

All the things it needs to function are all installed in the fountain. It has a water tank, pump, and also plumbing.

It’s a very straight forward fountain; it doesn’t require any special attention. You can get it in fiberglass, ceramic or stone.

  • Cascading Fountain

This type of fountain gives your garden a serene feel.

It’s a pile of stones with water gently running down them. This design gives the fountain a very natural look, and the water gives off gentle sounds like a spring flowing.

  • Wall Fountain

The wall fountain is a simple but yet elegant form of a water fountain. You can use it both indoors and outdoors as well.

If you have a wall in your garden, you can adopt this type of fountain. The fountain will need a water tank at the base and a pump to recycle the water.

You can go further to design the wall and the area where the water will come out from to give your garden a more aesthetic look.
