This is one fine solution to South façades (North hemisphere) or North façades (South hemisphere) as it helps to regulate temperature in this area of the building letting the air to enter, controlling the light inside the room.
In Brazil, there is a building block called 'Cobogó' that creates many designs according to their shapes, from a more simple ceramic Cobogó to a more sophisticated one, it can reshape the building façade, and help regulate temperatures internally.

That's the Weave House designed by Studio Gang and is located in Chicago. There are many examples of brick perforated (screen) walls popping up all over the world as building facades.
