Call for Speakers and Topics

The 11th annual Texas Civil Engineering Conference (CECON) is an invitation to current, former, and future civil engineers from all around Texas and beyond to join together to learn and contribute. Come join us in Frisco, Texas from September 18-20, 2024, as we work together to explore the many ways to raise awareness, attracting future engineers to choose Civil Engineering.

With the upcoming 2025 ASCE Texas Infrastructure Report Card, it is only fitting for this year's CECON program, showcase, celebrate, and highlight the engineering communities' work and accomplishments over the last four years. These group efforts have contributed to the continual improvement and betterment of our state's infrastructure, covering transit, aviation, water, energy, and many others. Our community's strength stems from our industry's strengths. With this in mind, the Texas Section of the American Society of Civil Engineers (ASCE Texas Section) encourages engineers of all disciplines and experience levels to come together and help raise the grade.

At this year's CECON, we seek to emphasize exceptional work and initiatives while also sharing knowledge gained from the things that may not have performed as well as we anticipated. All have the same purpose of sharing information so that we may continue to develop and "raise the grade" of Texas engineering and infrastructure.
