Join the Louisiana Chapter of the Coasts, Oceans, Ports and Rivers Institute (L.COPRI) for the Annual Christmas Tree-Cycling event hosted by Jefferson Parish Ecosystem and Coastal Management.

What: Annual Christmas Tree-Cycling

When: Saturday, February 24, from 8:30am to 12:30 pm.

Where: Behind Cochiara’s Marina - 4477 Jean Lafitte Blvd., Lafitte, LA 70067

Donated Christmas trees will be placed behind Cochiara’s Marina to protect wetlands habitat within the Barataria basin. COPRI is seeking volunteers to participate in this event. Supplies (gloves, life jackets, safety vests, sunscreen) and snacks will be provided by Jefferson Parish. Please wear comfortable clothes and close-toe shoes that can get wet. Refer to the Jefferson Parish Website for further information.
