Interesting and useful paper in the 19 May issue of Journal of Sustainable Water in the Built Environment
"Evaluating the Hydrologic Performance of Permeable Articulating Concrete Blocks over Silty Clay Soil in Maryland" found that porous pavement allowed significant infiltration of rainfall, even over nominally unsuitable soil. Good news for that approach.
