    Is the minimum design wind load as described in ASCE 7-16 section 27.1.5 subjected to ASD load combinations?I have a local plan reviewer who is saying the minimum ASD factored wind pressure is to be 16-psfI am arguing that the it should be 16-psf x 0.6

    The minimum wind loads of Section 27.1.5 are intended to be used in the Chapter 2 load combinations, either LRFD or ASD.  If using ASD, the 0.6 factor in the combinations is applicable.
