Risk Management

The Committee on Infrastructure Risk Management (CIRM) has recently created two new committees to advance the topic of risk management.

• Committee on Infrastructure Finance Risk:  This committee will focus on advancing approaches to evaluate how financial, operational, climate, and regulatory risks influence infrastructure assets and capital planning.
• Committee on Project Risk Management:  This committee will explore best practices for managing risks across the entire project lifecycle, including impacts to budget, schedule, quality, and performance. Members will also contribute to conversations on qualitative and quantitative risk analysis, risk communication, and risk‑based decision making.
