ASCE Collaborate has switched to a new platform called Thrive.
We appreciate your patience during the transition. What is Thrive? View more information here. Any questions or feedback? Please contact [email protected]. View Video Tutorials here.
An ASCE membership login is required to participate in discussion forums and ASCE Mentor Match.
In case you missed it, ASCE signed on to the Sustainable Development Goals Publishers Compact. This is an important contribution to SDG 17 - partnerships; see also the Higher Education Sustainability Initiative (HESI). ASCE has long been a leader in engineering for sustainable development; see Policy 517 (since 2006) and the ASCE Five-Year Roadmap to Sustainable Development. ASCE currently leads the World Federation of Engineering Organizations UN Relations Committee (WURC) and with the International Science Council (ISC), the Science and Technological Community Major Group (STC MG). SDG 4 Education is being reviewed at the Science and Technology Forum in May and the High Level Political Forum (HLPF) in July. Technical education is an important part of SDG 4 and WURC and the STC MG are asking for your ideas on how to accelerate achievement of SDG 4 particularly the technical related targets.
