    World Mental Health Day

It's World Mental Health Day where we raise awareness of mental health issues around the world and to mobilize efforts in support of mental health.

With architecture and engineering having one of the highest suicide rates for professionals, it's imperative to talk about this at work and provide resources to all employees.

There's so much more  which needs to be done to make mental health care a reality for people worldwide.

What are services and/or resources you have for mental health in your organization and areas?

The Corps of Engineers office where I worked offered excellent mental and physical health resources, with both onsite and offsite nurses and physicians who did a super job.  The universities of my studies and teaching were similarly staffed but my interactions with those were limited to walking one suicidal student to the center.

I'm wondering what small organizations do. Can they pre-arrange relationships with mental health professionals and pay only when the services are used?
