     Retirement has been a gift to explore and reach out to others.  It's given me time to acquire resources to make staying healthy in all aspects.  And for the purpose of this forum, use my past professional skills and experience as a donation of time and energy for worthwhile projects in my local community.

    My last gig was with a small consulting firm I helped a fellow engineer start in 2011. I finally eased all the way out about 4 years ago. I have continued to renew my Florida PE so I could accept the few consulting contracts I wanted to do. Post-COVID I have been a judge at the State Science & Engineer Fair twice. Wow, am I impressed with these exceptional students! I've had the time to go to public meetings (physical & virtual) on local land development projects and infrastructure programs and give my input. After serving ASCE for the last four decades in branch, section and regional roles; I am participating in more branch & section activities.
