The Global Sustainable Development Report (GSDR) is the United Nations' flagship scientific assessment supporting implementation of the 2030 Agenda for Sustainable Development. Produced every four years by an independent group of scientists, it synthesizes the latest evidence on progress toward the Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs), identifies emerging challenges and opportunities, and recommends transformative actions. The GSDR emphasizes systems thinking, science, technology, innovation, and partnerships to accelerate sustainable development. It informs discussions at the UN High-level Political Forum and the SDG Summit, helping policymakers integrate economic, social, and environmental priorities into coherent strategies that advance resilience, equity, and long-term global sustainability.
