  • 1.  Job precautions in a changing economy

    The world economy responds to cycles that sooner or later impact our quality of life through its effects on the built environment or the loss of jobs.

    It is not the first time we have dealt with similar issues in our group. Still, it does not hurt to maintain a base of advice and recommendations for that difficult moment.

    One recommendation, valid worldwide, is to keep our resume updated. What other suggestions do you propose?

    I think another low-hanging fruit is to constantly be trying to network in some form. Whether that involves meeting new people in your industry or reconnecting with old ones. This goes hand-in-hand with another topic I posted in the past called something like "interviewing when you already have a job".
