Hello everyone, 

I know this does directly relate to civil engineering, however I am looking for some professional advisement. I currently have an idea for a potential innovative product. I have a pitch deck and am looking for a manufacturer to start the production of prototypes. What is my best route to reaching out to a manufacturer in the industry. Do I call the business or reach out to professionals on LinkedIn?

Hi John
I can at least tell you the process for Simpson Strong-Tie.  We have a place on our website to submit new product ideas.  Its probably a good idea if the person with the idea at least submits for patent first to protect themselves.  There is a legal process that might involve non-disclosure agreements on both sides.
