    Hello everyone,
My name is Dany and I'm a 20 year old Civil Engineering student.
After one of my teachers suggested to learn ANSYS software, I downloaded it on my laptop, and began to read the user manual and get used to it.
However, what I know is that ANSYS Workbench is used in the fluids domain rather than in structures.
Can someone give me a clear definition of the software if possible, and tell me if for example I could use Revit files to import into ANSYS and then analysing?

    Thanks in advance!

I believe you need to import the Revit model into ANSYS as an *.igs or *.step file type.  I am not familiar with the program, but the best way to learn software is to dive in and use it.  It seems like you have an example you already want import, but if you don't, ask your teacher for a model to analyze.
