    Hi William,

    Offshore wind is an emerging market, especially for places like the East Coast and the United Kingdom. Unfortunately I don't have the specific contacts you're seeking, however, there is conference later this month you may be interested in. Solar Power International is one of the premiere renewable energy conferences and will have a wind energy portion this year. The wind energy developers may point you in the right direction.

    Hi William,

    I recommend you get in touch with the American Wind Energy Association (AWEA) or the European Wind Energy Agency (EWEA). Both have sections focused on offshore, and many engineers have made the jump from oil & gas to wind.
