This thread will be open June 9 - 12. The leaders will reply to all questions by Monday, June 15.

Professional Experience 

Anne began her career as a structural engineer in a 4 person-office and worked her way to executive level positions at a 100,000 employee, $18 billion fully integrated infrastructure company operating in 154 countries. Recognized in the field of concrete, Anne served as 90th president of the American Concrete Institute. The author of numerous articles and coauthor of the “Concrete Design and Construction” section of the Standard Handbook for Civil Engineers, Fifth Edition, Ms. Ellis is a frequent keynote speaker on topics impacting the AEC industry including globalization, technology, innovation and workforce development.

10 years’ experience in academic teaching, advising, research, and consulting with a focus on post-disaster evaluations, forensic investigations, construction vibrations, wave loads on bridge decks, instrumentation and testing, concrete materials, and structural analysis and design.
