    Hello @Alex Thomas, I imagine that you mean about traditional foundation system, may be in Mexico "it is/or was" useful too​, but for not to make assumptions can you share a scheme or a imagine about what you talking?

    Here it's giving RCC belt on basements RRM why mustn't be adopting this type wherein load is somewhat Points higher. I may share a drawing of a room

    Hi @Alex Thomas I'm sorry about the late answer. If I get the idea (picture a) this could be useful, is a common solutions in Mexico for avoid to construct continuos footing natural rock or RC foundation, the pic b) try to explain, in fact it's a "tiny mat" foudation for one or two story buildings. It's fast constructability and cheaper than traditional foundations.
