ASCE 7 design loads for free standing canopies

What sections of ASCE 7 are applicable to a free-standing, cantilevered canopy in order to determine wind and seismic loading?  It seems that ASCE 7-16 and ASCE 7-10 are more explicit in describing the structure in question, but ASCE 7-05 is the applicable reference for this project.  Any guidance and navigation between the 3 editions would be appreciated!

In 7-05 I would use Section 6.5.13 "Wind Loads for Open Structures" to determine wind loading for that type of canopy and section 15.5 "Nonbuilding Structures Similar to Buildings" for seismic requirements. The numbers change in 7-10 & 7-16 but shouldn't be much, if any, difference in the language & coefficient values through the three.
