The American Civil Engineers Association home page states that it has more than 150,000 members in 177 countries. I think this is a golden opportunity to gain experience from each other. Finally, with accurate coding for projects and their classification, it can be helped that anyone can get more information about the project by contacting the person who shared the project, and may eventually be used to guide their own project.

I take the initiative and share a project in the comment, I encode my project as follows:

My Name -Scope of project- Completion date of the project-position in the project

Reza Mokarram Aydenloo-Seismic rehabilitation-2108-Group Leader and Chief Engineer

I will take the initiative and ask you a few questions:

1- As a member who is currently active on this website, you follow and read posts, would you like to share one of your projects briefly?

2- Can you suggest a way to get others excited to share their project information?

3-Do you agree that by creating this library we can help engineers and colleagues to use their time wisely when dealing with similar projects?

4-Do you agree that an engineer can only access a limited number of projects by reading one or more books, while by creating this library each person will be able to connect to a sea of projects?

Come by sharing our experiences to help each other and the young engineers of the future

Reza Mokarram Aydenloo-Seismic rehabilitation-2108-Group Leader and Chief Engineer

In March 2014, a consulting Engineers Company introduced me to a special project for #seismic #rehabilitation. The main demand of the employer was to increase the area and general changes in the architecture of plan and facade.Existing structure designed and built several years ago, had 17 floors of concrete structures . In addition to seismic rehabilitation, I had to redesign it. In this regard, I thoroughly studied and evaluated the increasing of 7 new floors on the existing structure, so that I could finally find a best solution to strengthen the existing structure. I demolished two floors of existing concrete structure and added seven floors of new steel structure on it , finally designed and presented its complete details, I tried with all my strength and interest for a year and completed the project .Today I see the result of my efforts ,a building with special and beautiful face in 22-floors with an area of 41,000 square meters. Every time I watch this movie, I forget the tiredness of those days. This is a very special feeling, I wish you experience this feeling about your project as well.

Work experience gained: how to increase the number of floors in line with structural reinforcement

Thank you for your participation in this library of projects.
Dear engineers of ASCE , if you are involved with a similar project as Andres project, use his experiences.

Thank you Professor Andrés Guzmán for your kind sharing. Indeed this will be a great initiative for a young engineer like me and we will have much more to learn.

Dear Reza, it is a great initiative! I will try to start sharing my projects.
The first barrier is the language. My projects are in Spanish, so I have to prepare a "Data Sheet" for the most exciting projects and start a connection with anyone who will be interested in.
