    I am currently planning to prepare a lab-scale model of Membrane Bioreactor.I have studied in the literature that it is one of the best methods to produce high-quality effluent.I just wanted to know Membrane Bioreactor are more significant for which pollutants,i.e., for which type of pollutants Membrane Bioreactor will produce high-quality effluent.

    Also, I wanted to know how can we control fouling in Membrane Bioreactor? Fouling is one of the major disadvantages of this process.How can fouling be controlled so as to increase the efficiency of this process?

    Which type of membrane should be preferred, Hollow fiber or Flat sheet?

    Hi,
    Bioreactor designs highly on the process you are trying to perform. What is your input, and what is your desired output? From there, we can design the bioreactor.
