Title of the Presentation: That When Better Than I thought

Jimmy Floyd, P.E. is the Manager of Clark County Public Work’s Construction Management Division. The Division is responsible to managing the construction of Clark County’s capital improvements projects with over $850 Million in active projects, inspection of over 14,000 developer projects within unincorporated Clark County, and management of the maintenance and operation contracts that cover the 215 Beltway, Boulder Highway Landscaping, Las Vegas Blvd pedestrian bridges, escalators, and elevators.

He is the current Past President of Nevada APWA and current Vice President of the ACI Las Vegas Chapter. As a native Nevadan he has seen Southern Nevada grow over the past 4 decades into the community it is today. He holds degrees in both Engineering and Construction from UNLV, where he is active member of their advisory committee. Jimmy has worked in both the private and public sector and understands the challenges working as a consultant and more recently working to improve public sector policies and procedures.
