Description

Please join us this month to hear from JJ Van Dyke from Hazen and Sawyer as he speaks about Nashville’s newest Headworks Facility at the Central Water Reclamation Facility that started up in November 2023.

This month will focus on the improvements to the Central Wastewater Treatment Plant, part of the Clean Water Nashville Program, with an investment of nearly $400 million. With a capacity of 440 million gallons per day, this facility will meet the projected growth demands of Nashville’s growing population! The plant is located on Third Avenue North in Nashville’s Germantown neighborhood.

JJ will focus on a variety of topics ranging from drivers for the project, overcoming challenges, the Headworks equipment, a design overview, and construction lessons learned.

The January Branch Meeting will be held on Thursday January 16th from 11:30am-1pm at Tech Hill Commons, Registration closes on Tuesday January 14th.
