Description

Join us to kick-off the Missouri and Kansas Infrastructure Report Card!

This presentation serves as the official start to this amazing volunteer led research effort.

In 2018, Missouri & Kansas released their last "Infrastructure Report Cards", assigning letter grades to the quality and reliability of multiple categories of essential infrastructure. These categories include roads, bridges, drinking water, levees, stormwater, transit, rail, aviation, ports, and energy. You can find 2018's Report Cards here; Missouri Report Card, Kansas Report Card.

In 2027, we are set to release a new Report Card for Kansas and Missouri! As volunteers and subject matter experts, you will select an infrastructure category to research, use public databases and funding information, and write a report on how the infrastructure has changed in your given state. ASCE members will then use these reports to compile the state's "Report Card," and present the information to the public and state legislators.

This is an awesome opportunity to learn more about your state's infrastructure, the infrastructure funding process, and get involved with ASCE government relations. As an added bonus, section writers are eligible for 7 PDHs from ASCE.

After signing up for the kick-off event, please fill out the following form to select your state and infrastructure category: Sign-up Form
