Volunteers needed for this years' Civil Engineering and Design Careers Day!

KC STEM Alliance, the American Society of Civil Engineers (ASCE) - Kansas City Section, and the Center for Architecture & Design (CAD) are excited to bring back our annual career immersion event for up to 250 civil engineering & architecture high school students from more than a dozen Kansas City area school hosted at the UMKC Student Union.

We are looking for volunteers to interact with students as they learn the pathways in education to careers in civil engineering and design, see current technology being employed in the field, and ask questions of professionals currently practicing in these fields. ASCE is looking to represent the following civil engineering disciplines: structural, environmental, geotechnical, transportation, water resources, and construction engineering. We hope that you will join us for this exciting opportunity to educate and encourage the next generation of civil engineers and technicians!
