Emerging technologies supported by automation, smart computing, and communication sensors with real-time community interactions define the next-generation transportation systems. This three part virtual event aims to bring together leading researchers, practitioners, policymakers, and students to exchange knowledge to enable next-generation transportation systems using artificial intelligence (AI).

In this first session, Artificial Intelligence for Connected Community, the panelist will discuss the most recent innovations and applications of AI as well as the practical challenges and their solutions from both academia and government agencies.

AI-Enabled Next Generation Transportation Systems Student Competition  Deadline to Submit an Abstract is November 10th 

As part of the 
AI-Enabled Next Generation Transportation Systems Virtual Event series, T&DIs Artificial Intelligence Committee is hosting a virtual student competition. The competition is designed to showcase graduate-undergraduate students' research in Transportation Engineering with the use of Artificial Intelligence or Machine Learning. Students will have the opportunity to engage with industry and academy professionals and share their research with them.
