April 9th 1pm EST/12pm CST - Raccoon Mountain Pumped Storage Facility

Join us to tour TVA's Raccoon Mountain pumped storage facility! Two tours will be offered on April 9th, one at 9am EST/8am CST and one at 1pm EST/12pm CST. Both tours are capped at 15 registrants so be sure to sign up fast!

o    Please bring your own PPE, the plant will provide PPE for external guest to use 
o    Please ensure that all attendees wear long pants and closed toe shoes

Directions to Raccoon Mountain from Chattanooga

  • Take I - 24 west to Exit 174:
  • Turn right onto Cummings Highway
  • Stay on Cummings Highway approximately 2.5 miles and then turn right at the Raccoon Mountain Pump Storage sign.
  • Drive approximately 2.5 miles - parking lot will be on your left, and the Admin Building will be on your right.
  • On the right just past the Admin Building you will see the guard shack. Please park in the open lot and your tour guides will meet you. 

Directions to Raccoon Mountain from Nashville 

  • Take I - 24 east to Exit 174:
  • Turn left onto Cummings Highway
  • Stay on Cummings Highway approximately 2.5 miles and then turn right at the Raccoon Mountain Pump Storage sign.
  • Drive approximately 2.5 miles - parking lot will be on your left, and the Admin Building will be on your right.
