T&DI – Mobility on Demand and as a Service (MoDaaS) Committee Presents

The Role of MOD & MaaS in reviving public transportation

Wednesday, March 16, 2022, 4:00 PM  - 5:30 PM ET

The transportation landscape could fundamentally change as people emerge from the pandemic and we have a singular opportunity to influence how people think about getting around. The transit industry should be ready to encourage new commuting patterns and new modes of transportation to emphasize non-single occupancy vehicle options provided by MaaS. This panel will specifically focus on:

  • Reconfiguring transit services with MoD/MaaS options in the face of budget cuts and changes in travel patterns due to COVID
  • Rewards and incentives for encouraging sustainable trip-making
  • Rural/regional transit and the role of MoD/MaaS
  • Neighborhood trips and Micro-mobility
