How might we strengthen student critical thinking skills in the ocean of (mis-)information?

Join and contribute toward a roundtable discussion on how civil engineering faculty have developed teaching practices that help students navigate the overwhelming amount of information available at their fingertips. Whether it is designing engineering solutions on human or physical infrastructure, using big data to drive engineering decisions, or designing for resilient systems on a warming planet, our tech-savvy students are inundated with (mis-)information about the state of our world. How are engineering faculty equipping students with the necessary critical thinking skills to realize what is salient information from what is not? Join the discussion, exchange ideas, and learn from others at the ExCEEd Community Exchange (ECX)!
