112025 Webinar on Bicycle Infrastructure - Earn 1 NYS PDH

When:  Nov 20, 2025 from 12:00 PM to 01:30 PM (ET)

Please join CSCE for this webinar on bicycle infrastructure that is sponsored by the CT Chapter of the ASCE Transportation & Development Institute. In this webinar, PeopleForBikes will discuss the principles underlying safe bike infrastructure, why bicycle infrastructure is important, and how places can become better for biking. Martina Haggerty, Vice President of Infrastructure at PeopleForBikes, and Grace Stonecipher, Infrastructure Analytics and Research Manager at PeopleForBikes, will outline the reasons that having high-quality, connected, safe bike infrastructure is good for communities, and explore the most effective policy mechanisms for supporting better bike infrastructure, including Complete Streets mandates and speed limit laws. They will also review PeopleForBikes’ SPRINT principles for better bike infrastructure, which guide the creation of bike-friendly streets. Finally, using PeopleForBikes’ Bicycle Network Analysis and Great Bicycle Infrastructure Project, they will dig into case studies across Connecticut, examining local bicycle networks and ongoing infrastructure projects. Attendees may earn 1 NYS PDH at this event.
