Katie Eleam is an Auburn University graduate. After receiving her degree in Aviation Management, Katie began her career with the Georgia Department of Transportation as an aviation project manager administering FAA’s AIP program to 20 airports in northwest Georgia and metro Atlanta. She went on to become the state planning manager maintaining the state aviation system plan and supporting the planning efforts of over 100 public-use airports in Georgia. After her time at the state, Katie worked as a planning consultant and project manager for six years. Katie started her position as project manager for the Greenville Spartanburg Airport District in July of 2021. Katie also serves as a board member for the South Carolina Aviation Association and is a part-time CFI and CFII.
