YMG Service Event at Second Harvest

Join the Nashville Branch Younger Member Group for our first service event of the year at Second Harvest Food Bank! We will be sorting food at Second Harvest's warehouse, and it's a great way to give back to the community.

PLEASE NOTE: All attendees must register individually on Second Harvest's website - click "More information" below. ASCE YMG will not be collecting registration information. 

Location/Parking 

  • Your volunteer shift will take place at 331 Great Circle Road in Nashville. Please arrive at least 10 minutes prior to your shift. 
  • Limited parking is available in the Second Harvest lot. We encourage volunteers to carpool whenever possible. 

 Policies and Procedures 

  • ALL warehouse volunteers must wear close-toed shoes. Volunteers wearing sandals or flip-flops will not be allowed to volunteer. 
  • We have jackets and gloves available onsite, but please have everyone bring cozy layers if you are scheduled in our Cold Food Sort.   
  • Bags, purses and backpacks are not allowed in the warehouse. Lockers are available, or we request that you leave these items in a locked vehicle.  
  • In efforts to remain as environmentally friendly as possible, we encourage volunteers to bring their own reusable water bottle.
