Coronavirus & Environmental Engineering Science

When:  Apr 14, 2020 from 02:00 PM to 03:00 PM (ET)

Presenter: Charles N. Haas, Ph.D., F.ASCE, Drexel University

The ongoing outbreak of coronavirus disease resulting from the emergence of the virus severe acute respiratory syndrome coronavirus 2 (SARS-COV-2) is a matter of major global concern and threatens to rival consequences from the 1918 to 1919 influenza outbreak, also known as the Spanish Flu. Although this has resulted in a rapid mobilization of resources from the medical and public health communities, there are major roles for us to play in the environmental engineering and science field.
