ASCE RI to Grade Rhode Island’s Infrastructure Through Virtual News Conference

The Rhode Island Section of the American Society of Civil Engineers (ASCE) will unveil its 2020 Report Card for Rhode Island’s Infrastructure next Wednesday, June 24, 2020 through a virtual news conference. The report analyzes seven infrastructure categories pertinent to Rhode Island: bridges, drinking water, energy, ports, rail, roads, and wastewater. Due to the COVID-19 pandemic and ongoing risks of holding large gatherings, ASCE is holding the event reveal virtually. ASCE holds paramount the health, safety and welfare of the public.

Tune in to find out the grades, status, and recommendations for infrastructure in the Ocean State. State Officials will be present to receive the grades and questions from the press will be answered.
