The Sustainability and Resilience of Low-Density Cellular Concrete

Presentation Topic:

This presentation intended for contractors and engineers involved with Low-Density Cellular Concrete applications and its’ effect on Sustainability, Resilience, and the roadway to Carbon Neutrality.
The presentation is presented by approved associates and qualifies for one (1) PDH credit and is an introduction to Low-Density Cellular Concrete (LDCC) and its’ sustainability, resilience, and the road to carbon neutrality with advanced engineered cement and foam technologies.
The presentation begins with a brief history of Low-Density Cellular Concrete (LDCC) and will answer the basic questions of LDCC as defined by ACI523 and how it relates to traditional flowable fills. Focusing on applications and recent projects with LDCC. This presentation will also showcase project histories and how they relate to the sustainability, resilience and carbon neutrality in real world applications.
The learning objectives for attendees are:
1. Discuss the history, definition, and properties of low-density cellular concrete
2. Review the basics of sustainability, resilience, and carbon neutrality of low-density cellular concrete with real world applications
3. Introduce emerging technologies and how traditional low-density cellular concrete technology is advancing to meet challenging project parameters

  

About the Speaker:

Samantha is the National Sales Manager of Aerix Industries. She works in conjunction with the technical staff in providing her knowledge and experience with geotechnical, civil, and structural applications.

Samantha has over a decade of experience in technical sales and project management within the construction and industrial sectors. Before joining Aerix she was a project manager, educational program director, and technical sales representative for traffic infrastructure and process automation.
