Over the last year, we experienced a historic demand shock resulting from the Covid-19 pandemic and a price war between Saudi Arabia and Russia. This event triggered a significant downturn with unprecedented price volatility, which further spurred concerns about market supply-demand balance. At this point, the market continues to rebalance, the US has had a change in leadership, and there has been significant lack of investment in oil and gas as there has been a turn towards renewables. What does this mean for the oil and gas industry and by extension the offshore market? Join us as a panel of experts from the Baker Institute’s Center for Energy Studies from Rice University discuss these unprecedented times and address some of the key uncertainties moving forward.
