Please join us for our IN-PERSON ONLY ASCE Reston Branch meeting for a topic of A Journey to Clean water. This topic will be presented by David J. Rigby, PhD, PE, President and Founder of Aquatronox LLC & Director of Water and Wastewater in WG Construction Company, Inc.
Presentation Topic
David Rigby will discuss his experiences in the field of wastewater systems engineering to include: regulatory guidance, policies, and standards (federal, DOT, localities); jurisdictional roles and responsibilities; funding programs; overview of wastewater system and history; wastewater treatment process; current challenges in wastewater management; innovative technologies and trends; sustainability and the future of wastewater systems with some real project examples.
About the Speaker
David Rigby is an internationally recognized subject matter expert in the fields of water and wastewater engineering and environmental and water resources sustainability. His entire career has been dedicated to protection of the environment. His 50+ years of employment coincided with the passage of the Clean Water Act. He spent 20 years as an adjunct graduate professor at the George Washington University and consulted with the federal governments of China, Mexico and Thailand on environmental and water resources policy development. He remains an active engineering consultant with more than 800 major project designs to his credit.

We welcome "walk-in" attendees as space allows.
Refunds will ONLY be allowed in emergency situations or if an event is cancelled. Events that are rescheduled by the Branch may be refunded, if notice is provided prior to the rescheduled event.
