2025 TN River Rescue

The ASCE Professional and UTC Student Chapter are hosting a cleanup site at Caruthers Park!

Join us Saturday October 4th, 2025, from 9 AM- 12 PM!

  • Our site will be Caruthers Park for this year! There is a small tributary that feeds into Chattanooga Creek running through the park, a small soccer field area, playground, overgrown/wooded areas, and adjacent railroad tracks with a significant amount of trash.

  • Carpool if possible - once the lot is full there is street parking on Brannon Ave
  • Closed toe shoes are required
  • All ages welcome!
  • Limited number of long arm "grabbers" will be provided - feel free to bring your own if you have one.
  • Nitrile gloves will be provided - if you would like more protection, feel free to bring some of your own.
A light breakfast will also be provided. Please bring family, friends, coworkers or whoever you want to join us!
