ASCE Austin - September Branch Meeting

ASCE Austin is excited to host Jose Roig, Director of Development Services at City of Austin at our first fall meeting! Join us for an update on City of Austin Development Services!
José G. Roig, Director of the City of Austin Development Services Department, has a career spanning 29 years, dedicated to ensuring building safety. Roig has held several leadership positions within the City of Austin, formerly owned a building consultant company, and was an inspector at the Kennedy Space Center. Roig serves on the ICC Board of Directors, holds several ICC certifications and state licenses, and is involved in associations such as the Building Officials Association of Texas. Roig has a master’s in management and leadership, a bachelor’s in business management from Western Governors University, and an associates in Fire Science from Kaplan University.
NOTE: Time is allotted for lunch beginning at 11:30 AM. The meeting and speaker presentation will begin around 12 PM. A short period for questions & answers is reserved prior to 1 PM.
Registration ends on Friday, May 17th; you may still attend by paying at the door (cash, check, paypal). As a non-profit, we operate on a budget that is highly dependent on revenue from sponsorships, membership fees, and event/program fees (such as this luncheon). To help ensure a meal headcount for our events we require registration in advance. At this time, we do not offer refunds.
