Bio
My name is Gehan Mendis and I am a senior in Civil Engineering at Purdue university. I want to spend time exploring various disciplines, specifically construction, materials, and hydraulics, to better understand what field I will potentially work in. I want to gain as much relevant skills as possible while getting advice on how to transition from the classroom to the engineering world successfully.
Upon graduation,
I want a hands-on job where I can learn more crucial skills used in the office and on-site. I have completed an internship focusing on how departments in the CPMO function daily and project management skills. Being task-orientated and a critical thinker, I want to apply this knowledge to achieve success and improvements for the company.
