Thank you for raising these concerns. Structures Congress will be following the procedures that ASCE has outlined. ASCE is in communication with all event partners, including hotels, associated venues and individual vendors, to ensure that the health and safety of all attendees is the highest priority at our events. Our event hotels and other venues, including the ASCE offices in Reston and Washington, D.C., are implementing recommended protocols from health officials. These protocols include enhanced cleaning and disinfecting practices, operating with a heightened sense of awareness and taking relevant health and safety measures. ASCE will continue to monitor the situation. Check the Society website beginning next week for any changes in status.
The Union Station Hotel has told us they will provide hand sanitizer stations at each front desk counter, in the Exhibit Hall and throughout the plenary room (Grand Ballroom DEF) for all attendees use.
