Thank you for your enthusiasm in wanting to convene with other SEI members. All 2020 Structures Congress events have been cancelled because of the increasing concerns over the continued spread of COVID-19, our national efforts to contain the spread, and concern for our attendees' health.
Because of these considerations, I respectfully but strongly discourage you and other SEI members from convening in person in St. Louis. SEI is exploring virtual options to hold Structures Congress. We look forward to sharing these updates with you.

Hello,
I am currently still set on travelling to Saint Louis for the days that the Congress was scheduled since I have travel arranged from abroad.
I would be grateful if any one who is in a similar situation can reply here. Perhaps we can make the best of the situation in Saint Louis. Maybe some of the more minor side events relating to the Congress would not be subject to the cancellation. My flights are into New York 1st April, and out of Chicago on the 11th (fingers crossed on the travel ban) so I am happy to follow any recommendations on changing my internal flight.
