The Mini Pacific Southwest Conference (PSWC) organized by the Los Angeles Section/Los Angeles Younger Member Forum took place on November 17, 2019, and aimed to enhance student engagement through various sports competitions and activities. The event attracted over 200 attendees and included games like Ultimate Frisbee, Bubble Soccer, ASCE Jeopardy, and a Scavenger Hunt Photo Challenge, fostering interaction between students and professionals in the civil engineering field. Despite its success, the organizers faced challenges such as scheduling conflicts for quarter system schools and permit delays for food vendors, which they recommend addressing in future events.
