The Lake Day event, organized annually by the ASCE Student Chapters of Lipscomb University, TN State University, and Vanderbilt University, serves as a collaborative gathering for students, faculty, and staff. Taking place in September, the event features activities such as racing concrete canoes, which fosters teamwork and camaraderie among participants. The Nashville Branch Younger Member Group also sponsors the event, providing financial support for food and drinks, while facilitating interactions between students and younger professionals in a relaxed setting.
