The 2026 Outstanding Section and Branch Engagement and Communication Award aims to recognize and promote excellence in engagement and communication among the Sections and Branches of the American Society of Civil Engineers (ASCE). Instituted in 2002 and renamed in 2026, the award evaluates nominees based on their communication efforts, including websites, social media, newsletters, and emails maintained during the previous fiscal year. The Judging Committee, appointed by the Leader Training Committee, will assess submissions starting in October, with awards given in five categories based on membership size, from very small to very large sections and branches.
