Bio

Loujin Daher, P.E., is a Geotechnical Dam Safety Engineer at AECOM, a leading infrastructure consulting firm globally recognized as the premier Dams and Reservoirs entity by Engineering News-Record (ENR). Her distinguished career reached new heights in 2024 when she was awarded the Young Engineer of the Year by the Central Pennsylvania Engineers Week Council (CPEWC). A dedicated member of the American Society of Civil Engineers (ASCE) since 2018, Loujin's influence extends across local and national levels, including notable roles such as vice president, president, and Communication Chair of the Central PA ASCE Section. Loujin earned her bachelor’s degree in civil engineering from Bucknell University in 2015. She embarked on an eight-year tenure at Gannett Fleming, where her expertise flourished as a geotechnical engineer, notably contributing to innovative solutions for dams. Her forward-thinking proposal in 2022, leveraging drone technology, AI, and digital twins, earned her accolades and positioned her as a pioneer in the Fourth Industrial Revolution. In 2023, Loujin transitioned to AECOM, fortifying her commitment to advancing geotechnical solutions globally. Beyond professional achievements, she champions inclusivity within ASCE, serving on the MOSAIC Committee. Loujin's community impact is equally commendable, with engagements ranging from STEM outreach events to mentoring aspiring engineers. In her free time, she enjoys traveling, cooking, playing tennis and kickball, and cheering for the Baltimore Orioles Baseball Team.
