Developing a Career Plan
share:
So you got your degree (or are still working on it), now what? People say to follow your passions, but how do you figure out what those are (besides cuddling up to some chips and guac in front of Netflix for the night)? Tune into this webinar to learn how to develop the career plan that's right for
you
and set priorities that will help you along your way during your first few years as a professional.
Presenter: Peyton J. Gibson, EIT, A.M.ASCE, currently works in the Dam Safety Office at the U.S. Bureau of Reclamation in the Greater Denver Area. She is highly involved with ASCE on a national and local level, holding positions with the Construction Institute of ASCE and the Denver Chapter. She is also the practitioner advisor for her alma mater, Colorado School of Mines, and is the chair of the Colorado State Infrastructure Report Card. Peyton will begin her Masters part-time at the University of Colorado, Boulder in Construction Engineering this fall. She enjoys her home state in the winter on the slopes at the resort and backcountry, and in the summer by backpacking and rock climbing the different regions of Colorado. She is passionate about infrastructure policy and American politics in general and hopes to one day transition from being an engineer to a political decision maker.
