An Asset Management Approach to Municipal Water Infrastructure—Case Study and Lessons Learned - FREE

This panel discussion will focus on the why and how of applying an asset management approach to municipal water infrastructure and present a case study from the City of San Diego, where the principles of asset management were applied to stormwater infrastructure for the first time in the US. The panel will discuss the benefits of and challenges to implementing asset management and share perspectives on the economic and legal risks of managing assets reactively in contrast to adaptive management.
