Building the Foundation for Water Infrastructure - FREE
share:
SPONSORED WEBINAR provided by
JM Eagle
Recently, the US Senate passed the US Infrastructure Bill for a budget of $1 Trillion. Of this historical amount, $55 Billion will be dedicated to Drinking water infrastructure. Currently, up to 10 million American households and 400,000 schools and childcare centers lack safe drinking water. The deal’s $55 billion investment represents the largest investment in clean drinking water in American history, including dedicated funding to replace lead service lines and the dangerous chemical PFAS (per- and polyfluoroalkyl). It will replace all of the nation’s lead pipes and service lines. From rural towns to struggling cities, the deal invests in water infrastructure across America, including in Tribal Nations and disadvantaged communities that need it most.
But how is this truly achievable?
One solution is installing pipe materials with a longer lifespan such as chemically inert plastic pipes that last for at least 100 years. Combining innovative engineering design, installation procedures and years of excellence in plastic pipe manufacturing, JM Eagle’s thermoplastic pipe offerings bring higher performance, lighter weight, and more cost-effective pipe solutions for all municipal applications. All JM Eagle plastic pipes are tested to meet or exceed standards set by AWWA, ASTM, ISO, NSF and many other internationally recognized standard-setting organizations.
