PE Civil Licensure Exam eLearning webinar - FREE

What should you know about the closed book PE Civil Licensure Exam

The National Council of Examiners for Engineering and Surveying (NCEES) released the PE Civil Reference Handbook in July 2021 in preparation of moving the PE Civil exam from paper-pencil to open-book to computer-based (CBT), closed book exam. The first opportunity to take the PE Civil computer-based test starts April 1, 2022. During the exam, examinees will have access to the NCEES PE Civil Reference Handbook and the relevant design standards in the electronic format. However, examinees need to know much more about what has changed and what to expect in a closed book exam. For example, how to effectively use the reference book during the exam? How to speed up search during the exam? What is the exam environment like? What are the types of questions on the exam and how are they graded? If you are looking for answers to these questions, this webinar is for you. Dr. J.P. Mohsen, the course director for the ASCE’s PE Civil Exam Review Courses, will talk about the important changes in the exam format and will answer your questions related to the CBT exam.

 Presenter: J.P. Mohsen, Ph.D., F.ASCE
